What a better way to cap the 12-hour vigil “An Evening for the Lord”which commenced last Friday, 4 March 2016 and ended with a solemn high mass with Bishop Jesse Mercado officiating it the following day, Saturday, 5 March 2016. It also marked a special day for our parish priest, Fr. Rodel Paulino, as he celebrated his 11th sacerdotal anniversary,
Fr. Rodel spent his seminary days at San Jose Seminary and took Theology at Loyola School of Theology in the Ateneo de Manila University. He offered the rest of his life to serve the Lord when he was ordained to the priesthood on March 5, 2005, in the Cathedral of St. Andrew, Paranaque City.
Known for his wit in his homilies, we are happy to note that Fr. Rodel is one who we look up to – a well-rounded person, good in numbers, sharing uplifting text and viber messages, lending his ear to people who come for his advice, and keeping an open arm for the children in the depressed areas who run to him for comfort and warm embrace
May the Lord continue to pour His blessings on you Fr. Rodel and we look forward to years of sacerdotal anniversaries ahead!
